Thanks for the Memories, Ronnie Corbett

Yesterday broughtRonnie Corbett the sad news that Ronnie Corbett had died aged 85.

For those of us from a certain generation, his talent leaves us with many great comedy memories. Most notably, of course, from The Two Ronnies but also from his appearances on The Frost Report and, more recently, Extras with Ricky Gervais.

You probably have your own favourite sketches but here are just a few of Ronnie Corbett's classics.

RIP Ronnie and thank you for giving us so many laughs.

The Class Sketch from The Frost Report

First shown on the 7th April 1966, the satirical sketch featuring Ronnie Corbett, Ronnie Barker and John Cleese. Enjoy this timeless classic:

Four Candles

It could be argued that this is the best comedy sketch of all time. Of course, Ronnie Barker's ‘four candles' is the line that most people use but the entire sketch is brilliant and Ronnie Corbett's acting is superb to go with his comedy partner's word play:

Answering the Question Before Last

This Mastermind spoof is another great sketch from The Two Ronnies. “What sort of artist?“. Brilliant!
